Best Features of the BGMI 4.4 Update
The new update is bringing a massive mythical makeover to the game! Krafton is changing things up with fresh gameplay, new map areas, and fun challenges. Here is a simple breakdown of the coolest features coming your way:
Hero’s Crown Theme Mode
This update is all about the “Hero’s Crown” theme. Classic Erangel spots like Ruins and Ferry Pier have been totally transformed into ancient arenas with giant marble buildings. These areas are amazing for loot, and you’ll find level 3 loot, special powers such as Heart of Fury, Battle Flag, and that lifesaver auto-recall feature if you happen to get taken out early.
Crown’s Abode Floating Island
This massive floating island, inspired by ancient Greek architecture, is where the toughest battles take place. Your first task is to explore the area and collect Origin Embers while fighting rival squads and taking their loot. Once you gather enough Embers, you can board the Sun Chariot and travel to the grand temple, where the final challenge awaits against the powerful centaur boss, Helios.

Themed Trials & Glory
To keep the middle of the match exciting, you can now trigger special missions around the map. Here are the five trials that you can trigger:
- Prometheusโs Trial (High Glory, non-repeatable)
- Spartanโs Trial (Medium Glory, non-repeatable)
- Achillesโ Trial (Medium Glory, non-repeatable)
- Icarusโ Trial (Medium Glory, non-repeatable)
- Gryphon Trial (Low Glory, repeatable)
Sun Chariots and Boss Fights
Vehicles are getting a fresh upgrade with the new rideable Sun Chariots. These ancient Greek-style rides let you travel across the map in a unique way and take you straight into battles against the powerful boss centaur Helios, hidden inside the ruins. Defeating the boss rewards you with rare crate loot and high-tier gear, which will give your squad a better chance to survive and claim the chicken dinner.

More 120 FPS Support
The update also expands 120 FPS support to many more smartphones. With around 26% more Android and iOS devices now compatible, a larger number of players can enjoy much smoother gameplay, faster response times, and better recoil control during intense fights. This can make aiming and close-range battles feel far more consistent, especially in competitive matches.
