Recently, PUBG Mobile introduced super AI bots in classic maps to enhance the user experience. However, the bots’ names contain the name of Allah, sparking a new controversy.
My friends and I have noticed that while playing Golden Dynasty theme mode, a bot appears that gives the movement like a pro player, but it was just a bot. When my teammate kills it, يا ٱللَّٰهِ appears in the kill field. It was a shocking moment for me as we killed the bot whose name is Allah. Instantly, my friend revived me, and I ran towards the crate to confirm what I saw.
In the above image, you can clearly see that I am looting the enemy’s crate whose name is written as يا ٱللَّٰهِ. I completed this match and deleted PUBG Mobile from my device.
I started playing PUBG 5 years ago, and leaving like this was a heartbreaking moment for me. But I controlled myself and opened TikTok to see whether this happens with other players. I found many videos showing the Holy Quran and signs of Islamic things in PUBG in every update. However, PUBG later removed them as the community started feeling overwhelmed.
We want PUBG to prevent these mistakes and not include any religion in Battle Royale games.
