Why Rockstar is Sticking to English Audio
While some international gamers were hoping for localized voice dubbing, just like in other GTA titles, Rockstar has only included English audio to preserve the game’s distinct cultural satire, regional dialects, and hyper-specific street slang. As the franchise heavily relies on parodying American culture, translating the voice acting into French or Spanish would risk losing the intended tonal nuances.
Furthermore, there is some disappointing news for many players. Gamers from countries such as Turkey, India, and others were hoping that the game would be translated into their native languages due to the large player base in those regions. Unfortunately, that did not happen. English remains the only audio language available, while players around the world will need to rely on supported interface and subtitle languages where available.
