As mentioned in the previous post, the highly anticipated 3.9 update started rolling out on July 7, 2025, in some regions. As some creators went live on YouTube with the new Transformers-themed mode, players got excited to jump in early. However, the rollout isn’t complete yet, so you might not see the update on the Play Store or App Store just yet. In this post, I’ll share the PUBG Mobile 3.9 update download links for all regions (Global, Korean, Vietnam, and Taiwan). Go ahead and explore the new features with your friends.

Below are the download links for the new version. However, keep in mind that if you update earlier than other players in your region, you might face matchmaking issues or end up playing on a global server with high ping.
What’s New in v3.9.0
Transformers Themed Mode
A major collaboration with the Transformers franchise brings Optimus Prime and Megatron to the battlegrounds. You can kill enemies with them, and if your machine is destroyed, you can repair it within 10 seconds. Furthermore, you can explore hotdrops, new events, and vehicles like the Mega Truck and the Electromagnetic Tank.
Zombie Uprising 2.0 in Metro Royale
The updated Zombie Uprising mode now features a mix of intense PvE and PvP action. Players have to take down tough bosses to collect genetic codes, which can then be used to spawn monsters that drop powerful loot. This adds a new layer of strategy to the mode, as players need to balance fighting off enemies, collecting rewards, and staying ahead of others doing the same.
Classic Mode Updates
ASM Abakan is a new weapon with three firing modes that give players more flexibility in different combat situations is now available in classic mode. Along with it, new vehicles like the hoverboard are now available on Spawn Island and across the map, making it easier to move quickly and escape tight spots. The recall system has also been upgraded with cinematic animations, clearer teammate name displays, and added light effects, making the process of reviving teammates more visually immersive and satisfying.
Social Hub
Now you can pick up your (alive) teammate, which will enhance the relationship and social hub.
