How to Participate in Beta Testing?

Android

• Download the APK file using the above link
• Locate the download file from your device (mostly in Download folder)
• Click on the APK file and allow installation from unknown sources.
• Click on install button and wait for 1-2 minutes
• After installation, open the game and download additional graphic resources.
• Log in with your Google, Facebook or Twitter account.
• At last, download new maps and test new features.

iOS

• Go to official Discord server and download the iOS file
• Now go to settings>Apps and complete the on-screen steps.
• Open the game and download additional resources
• Log in as a guest or link your social account to save your progress
• Play the beta version and enjoy new theme mode.

Beta version is crucial to fix the bugs before official launch. However, these features and events are not final. PUBG can change or remove the design/material during beta testing. All the items are under development and did not represent the final product.

What’s New in PUBG 3.8 Beta?

Steampunk Frontier Theme Mode

Steampunk Frontier will replace Golden Dynasty as a theme mode in classic maps. An Aetherholm, Train Platforms, Hot Air Balloons, and Rollercoaster Checkpoint have been added to keep the game fresh.

Gameplay Mechanics

• Motorcycle’s firing upgrade: You can now fire with one hand while driving motorcycles.
• Steam Trains: New Special cargo and Express trains are added in Erangle Map that will follow a designated route.
• Clockwork Merchant: Purchase supplies from clockwork merchants at train platforms in Aetherholm and Cargo Hubs.

Classic Mode Update

• Sticky Bomb: Like IGI, the Sticky Bomb can stick to any wall or vehicle surface and explode after a short countdown, dealing wide-area damage.
• Spare Tire: Replace the damaged vehicle tyre with a new one
• Vehicle Destruction Update: Upon vehicle destruction, there will be a small explosion followed by the main damage explosion a second later.

These features and upgrades will make the game even more realistic, resulting in a wider audience. We will add more new items in the next beta updates. Stay Tuned!
