We all know that the M416 Glacier is one of the rarest guns in PUBG, and every player wishes to have it. In the global version, you can get it through classic crates, but the drop rate is less than 0.001%, which means you need pure luck. Recently, however, Krafton introduced a Glacier Spin in the 4.3 update of BGMI that gives players a chance to get the rare M416 skin for free.
How Rare is Glacier Skin?
A famous YouTuber, Panda, spent millions of UC on different accounts trying to get this skin. He actually became popular because of his reactions to not getting the gun. After years of struggle, he finally got it, but many other players are still opening hundreds of crates without success. This shows just how rare this item really is. Players spend thousands of UC on other skins and may own almost every gun and vehicle skin, yet they still strongly desire this shining gun.
How to get Free M416 Glacier?
If you are a BGMI player, you can get free draws in the Lucky Spin and redeem rewards. This spin is available from March 24 to May 26 only. To earn free draws, you need to participate in the cricket league (IPL) and support your favorite team. If your team wins, you will receive a spin. Since there are 84 matches, you should participate in as many as possible to maximize your chances.
If you get special coins from the spin, you can redeem rare items such as the Glacier Gun (700 coins), outfit (650 coins), helmet (250 coins), hair (600 coins), mini materials (20 coins), and more.
UC Glacier Spin in PUBG KR
In PUBG Korean (KR), the Glacier usually appears only once a month in the Lucky Spin, typically during winter near the end of the year. Players can spin using Unknown Cash (UC), and the chances of getting it are higher. Even in the redeem shop, you can get the M416 for around 350 coins.
Unlike BGMI players, PUBG KR players can also play the global version. I have personally played the KR version for two years and managed to get several upgradable guns like the Uzi, M762, Mk14, and UMP for free.
If you are a global user, you can also open premium crates to get free skins and materials. However, I do not recommend spending UC on these items because it can cost thousands of dollars, and your account may not be worth that much in the end.
