BGMI 4.3 Update Release Date & Time: Racing Mode, M1 Garand & Features

As PUBG’s 8th Anniversary approaches, Krafton is preparing the 4.3 update. Many of you may have explored the beta version or watched YouTube videos about the Evolving Universe Theme mode, leaks, and new features, and you’re probably excited to try it out. 8th Anniversary “Passive Skill” Themed Mode

A new twist is being added to the game as players will now choose from 5 distinct specializations (such as assault, medic, or scout). As you survive and gather resources, you will level up your skills through four tiers: C, B, A, and S. ‘S’ is the highest unlockable tier that will give a powerful strategic advantage in the game.

Racing Mode & Vehicle Specialization

Mobility is the name of the game in 4.3. Players will find new Drag-Race Checkpoints scattered across the map. By triggering these flagged zones, you can execute timed vehicle runs to unlock high-tier mid-match loot. Furthermore, the update introduces passive vehicle buffs, allowing players to upgrade their rides for reduced fuel consumption, enhanced durability, and explosive Nitro boosts.

Tiered Loot Houses

It’s time to say goodbye to purely random RNG loot drops. The new update features a graded housing system (Tier C to S). All players start with access to basic Tier C houses. To unlock the higher-tier buildings containing level 3 gear and airdrop weapons, you must actively drive vehicles or secure eliminations to earn access keys.

New Semi-Auto M1 Garand (Weapon)

It is a DMR weapon, similar to the MK14, SKS, and SLR. The unique feature is the knife attached to the muzzle, which allows you to eliminate enemies even if you run out of ammo.

Another powerful feature is that there is no forced recoil delay between shots, which allows players with a fast trigger finger to melt opponents at mid-to-long range.

New Floating Thrusting Attachment

A new red-colored vehicle attachment (Floating Thrusting) has been added to the game that boosts the speed of vehicles. It works on all vehicles, even horses, but I think it looks awkward. When you get in, you will see a Modify button at the bottom. If not, you can manually access it from the backpack.

Map Changes & Mobility Buffs

Some hotdrops like Pochinki, Geogopol, Mylta, and Mansion have been redesigned to celebrate the upcoming 8th Anniversary. Apart from this, in Pochinki, players can use Gliding Rails for quick rooftop rotation. Additionally, the Upgraded Human Launchers now feature new charging animations and longer flight paths.

UI Enhancements & The 165 FPS Rumor

The UI has been completely redesigned with a white-themed interface. The player profile settings have also been updated and are now more organized with a modern look. In addition, the width of the Start button at the bottom left has been slightly increased.

Some rumors claim that PUBG has added 165 FPS to the game, but this is not true. The beta version currently shows a maximum of 120 FPS. Due to current mainstream mobile hardware limitations and server stability concerns, Krafton is unlikely to enable 144 FPS or 165 FPS modes. Be careful with third-party GFX tools that claim to unlock 165 FPS or iPad view, as using them can result in a permanent account ban.

1. Open the Google Play Store on your phone.
2. Tap your profile icon and select Manage apps and device.
3. Look for Battlegrounds Mobile India under the “Updates available” section.
4. Tap Update and wait for the installation to complete.

For iOS Users:

3. Scroll down to refresh the page and check the pending updates list.
